Bardstown Historical Development Corporation (Oscar Getz Museum of Bourbon History)

The Oscar Getz Museum of Bourbon History will complete an interpretive master plan that will guide improvements to the museum over the next three years as part of an overall project to modernize and re-organize the collection and improve the visitor experience. The project will result in a Master Interpretive Plan that will guide the museum toward its vision of a reorganized space that tells a chronological history of bourbon and its links to Kentucky and United States history, and an improved and modernized visitor experience. The plan will establish themes around which to create future exhibits and updates to current exhibits, detail implementation activities for the reorganization, and identify programming and collaboration opportunities for the museum.
