Liberty Hall Museum
Log Number: IGSM-257599-OMS-25
The Liberty Hall Museum will conduct a project to safely house, arrange, describe, and open the museum’s archival collection to the public. The project will support the purchase of archival containers and safe storage materials for this collection, as well as the hiring and training of two paid interns. The museum curator, with support from interns and other staff, will arrange the collection physically and intellectually, describe the collection, rehouse materials in safe storage, and develop a finding aid. This will make the collection accessible to the public and preserve it for the future. Upon completion, the museum’s archives will benefit academic researchers, students, and all visitors to the museum, who will have greater access to materials documenting over two centuries of New Jersey and United States history.
