Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center

The Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center will plan for exhibits and programs for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. The project involves four exhibits and adult and children’s programs about the Revolutionary period in the Perkiomen region. The exhibits and programs will provide local and regional visitors with an understanding of who was living in the region and how their lives were impacted. The exhibit goals will be to interest visitors in exploring the intersection of family history, local lore, and fact as well as an appreciation of the contributions of the distinct Pennsylvania German arts.
