Mobile Medical Museum

The Mobile Medical Museum will reorganize its archival collections to make them more manageable and efficient for staff access. This will enable museum staff to better serve visiting researchers who wish to access the museum’s archival materials. The project will include a complete inventory of the museum’s archives, relabeling and systematically organizing all storage boxes and files, and digitally scanning a select number of materials that have high value for research or that are rapidly deteriorating. The project is expected to increase scholarly use of the archive, and to enable the museum to incorporate archival materials more frequently and thoughtfully in its exhibitions, educational resources, and public programs.
