Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society

The Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society will make environmental improvements to better preserve and care for its historic building and collections. Housed in a 1905 Carnegie library, the museum’s collection of paintings, historical objects, documents, textiles, and photographs details life in Lafayette, Wisconsin, and surrounding counties. Project activities include the purchase and installation of a new heating system to replace the current failing system. Improved environmental conditions will enhance the preservation of the museum’s collection and historic building.
