Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County

The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County (HCSCC) will create a Memory Lab to empower and teach community members to digitize and store their own local history, and to build HCSCC’s own collection through the materials community members donate. Memory Lab staff will provide equipment and training to community members to assist them in digitizing their own family records and photos and researching topics of interest using HCSCC collections. This project will primarily benefit local history enthusiasts and will support the purchase and installation of a workstation with digitization equipment inside the archives, and public promotion to encourage engagement.
