Cape Cod Maritime Museum

The Cape Cod Maritime Museum will collaborate with the Cape Cod Military Museum to present an exhibition on Cape Cod’s maritime history during World War II. Staff will identify artifacts from the Cape Cod Military Museum that are not normally on public display to share this lesser-known history with visitors. Project activities include research, exhibition preparation, and evaluation of the exhibition’s effectiveness through visitor feedback. The primary audience for the exhibition is Cape Cod residents, with visitors from outside the region serving as a secondary audience. Project results will include increased public knowledge of Cape Cod’s World War II history and the creation of an engaging, accessible, and informative exhibition.
