Rhode Island Latino Arts

The Rhode Island Latino Arts will strengthen the stewardship, management, and public accessibility of its growing archival collection documenting Latino history and cultural life in Rhode Island. Project activities will include cataloguing, digitization of historical materials, expansion of the digital archive, archival storage and preservation, oral history transcription and documentation, community documentation, and collection development. Outcomes of the project will be the expansion of the digital archive with newly digitized materials, improved organization and preservation of physical collections, and increased public awareness of Latino historical collections in Rhode Island.
