Log Number: IGSM-259782-OMS-26
The Gloucester Institute will establish the infrastructure required to safely display and preserve artifacts dedicated to the life and leadership of Dr. Robert Russa Moton, a prominent African American educator, author, and civil rights leader. The project team will purchase museum-grade display cases, archival storage materials, and environmental equipment to reduce risks from light exposure, humidity, and temperature. The project will result in improved preservation of historic materials, increased public access through on-site and digital interpretation, and strengthened institutional capacity.
