The Seneca Falls Historical Society (SFHS) will process, catalog, digitize, and exhibit collections of personal papers of several suffragists including Amelia Bloomer, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Grace Woodworth, and the personal papers of prominent Seneca Falls residents related to the women’s rights movement. The collections will be cataloged and rehoused, and electronic aids will be created and made publicly accessible through statewide digital collections cooperatives. This project will also include preparing programs for teachers and students at the middle school and high school levels in Seneca County and planning a permanent exhibit in the museum. Beneficiaries of this project will include Pre K-12 students and teachers, researchers, and visitors to Seneca Falls interested in the women’s rights movement.
