Woodlawn Museum

The Woodlawn Museum will digitize priority materials from the Black Family Papers, a 140-linear-foot archival collection, and make them publicly accessible online for the first time via their website. This project will support the purchase of digitization equipment and the hiring of a contract archivist to complete the activities. The primary audience is the research community: historians, genealogists, educators, and students who study Maine and New England history, the timber and land industries of the nineteenth-century Northeast, and the social and economic history of Downeast Maine communities.
