Florida Keys History and Discovery Center

The Florida Keys History and Discovery Center will undertake a project to improve the long-term management and care of its collection. Funds will be used to support four graduate students who will participate in a staff-supervised residency within the museum dedicated to rehousing, cataloguing, and digitizing priority collection materials. The project benefits the Center by improving stewardship of its collections and increasing institutional capacity for collections management and it benefits the participating graduate students through hands-on professional training in museum collections care and opportunities to build lasting professional networks.
