Citadelle Art Museum

The Citadelle Art Museum will ensure improved management, preservation, and public access to a newly acquired collection of approximately 750 artworks and objects. Project activities will include professional photography, inventorying, cataloguing, registration, and digitization of the collection to expand accessibility for research, exhibition planning, and public interpretation. The project will involve hiring professional collection documentation and photography specialists to support the project work. The outcome of project activities will be ensuring that the newly accessioned collection is responsibly documented, preserved, and made accessible to the public, strengthening the museum’s ability to steward cultural resources and expand educational and research access for rural communities across the Texas Panhandle and beyond.
