Victims of Communism Museum

The Victims of Communism Museum will expand its reach and impact through stronger engagement with educators, students, and partner organizations in the Washington, D.C., region, as well as through enhanced educational programming, experiential learning opportunities, and digital capacity. This project will strengthen visitor engagement by increasing audience outreach, school group tours, educational events, temporary exhibitions, and partnerships with local organizations. The museum will also expand experiential learning opportunities through lectures, creative activities, and interactive workshops for school visitors, while providing additional educational events and engagement opportunities for educators, research fellows, interns, and university students. Project activities include outreach to local schools, development of digital educational content, school tours, educational events, and installation of temporary exhibitions. Beneficiaries of this project include teachers, students, and partner organizations.
