American Cave Museum

The American Cave Conservation Association will develop an exhibit master plan for the American Cave Museum. The museum will evaluate existing exhibits and spaces, consult with scientists and educators, develop interpretive themes, and prepare conceptual exhibit layouts. The master plan will provide guidance for the museum to share the history of Hidden River Cave and expand access to high-quality science education. Project outcomes include a comprehensive exhibit master plan, recommendations for interactive interpretive elements, increased public understanding of caves, karst landscapes, and groundwater systems, and more accessible cave interpretation. The primary beneficiaries of this project are visitors to the museum.
