Electric City Trolley Museum

The Electric Trolley Museum will improve accessibility for visitors and strengthen its capacity to provide inclusive educational experiences. Project activities include installing assistive technologies, including audio equipment, closed-captioning equipment, improved lighting, and wireless microphones. The museum will also produce a multilingual interpretive film highlighting the history of electric trolley transportation in Scranton. The project outcome will be expanded access to the museum’s educational programming and enhanced visitor engagement. Primary beneficiaries include visitors with hearing impairments, multilingual audiences, seniors, and visitors with sensory needs.
