The International Museum of World War II

The International Museum of World War II will complete a one-year capacity-building project to integrate physical, on-site experiences with digital, outreach-based, and student-centered approaches that support continuous, engaging education. Project activities include sponsoring student bus transportation to and from the museum, creating new educator kits with standards-based lesson plans and discussion guides, and producing a virtual reality film. Project outcomes include expanded access to the physical museum and increased engagement with the museum’s online resources. Primary beneficiaries include local schoolchildren, veterans, and visitors who access the museum’s digital content.
