Children’s Museum of Brownsville

The Children’s Museum of Brownville will conduct a comprehensive master planning process to revitalize its legacy medical exhibit, Dr. Bones. The museum will hire an exhibition planning and design consultant. Project activities will include an internal infrastructure review, spatial layout design, iterative prototyping of interactive components, and the integration of best practices in informal museum education. The primary output will be an Exhibit Master Plan, complete with a detailed interpretive strategy, design documentation, and a phased implementation road map. This project will benefit the museum’s approximately 75,000 annual visitors, providing vital early childhood and STEM learning resources to an underserved region.
