Arizona Science Center

The Arizona Science Center will partner with the Phoenix Preparatory Academy and the Valley Big Brothers-Big Sisters to implement the Computer Connections Club after-school program. Held in a technology and multimedia lab based at the Science Center, the project will offer training in new technology to children, teachers and mentoring volunteers. Participants will also work on a series of computer related projects in technology, art, science, robotics and music. The Computer Connections Club aims to help children, as well as their teachers and mentors, become comfortable with and achieve a certain mastery of technology and applied science. *Awarded under Museum Leadership Initiatives program - now part of National Leadership Grants for Museums
