The Delaware Division of Libraries will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Delaware, specific goals address 1) Having access to library resources and services that enable them to pursue their individual interests, to become engaged in community life, to achieve their personal educational goals and to succeed in the world of work; and 2) Being empowered to become centers of learning communities through efforts that increase their capacity to serve the public, increase efficiency and equip library workers to become effective facilitators of lifelong learning.
