The Maine State Library will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Maine, specific goals address 1) expanding library resource sharing and services for all Maine citizens; 2) expanding and enhancing life-long learning opportunities for librarians and Maine citizens; and 3) improving library services to individuals with disabilities and for Maine citizens, including children, living in underserved areas.
