The Library of Michigan will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2013-2017, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Michigan, specific goals address 1) providing Michigan residents with equal access to resources and materials in various formats for lifelong learning; 2) offering Michigan residents opportunities to gain new skills and improve skills to engage in the 21st century community and economy; and 3) actively pursuing partnerships and initiatives that support community development and engagement.
