Guam Public Library

Guam Public Library System, which serves the territory's entire island community, will use grant funds for public gaming materials and technology training for staff. The library building was recently renovated with Department of Interior funds, and now features a study room and game room, as well as a new building that serves as a children's library and Internet caf�. Project funds will provide educational board games and video games for the new game room, children's library, and all branch locations. These materials are targeted to populations that may not currently visit the library and will help the library expand its reach. Grant funds will also support in-person training on the library system's main software, in order to maximize its capacity.
