The Georgia Public Library service will use funds under the CARES Act to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus; to expand digital network access, purchase internet accessible devices, and provide technical support services. They will continue to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022. State goals include: 1) serve as trusted advisers to the library community; 2) develop a supportive community for Georgia’s public libraries; 3) ensure equal access to information and technology; and 4) foster a culture of learning statewide.
