Rhode Island Office of Library & Information Services

The Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Rhode Island, specific goals address 1) providing access to library materials and information resources through physical and virtual spaces; 2) supporting the continuing education of librarians, library staff and trustees and the development of statewide programming for libraries; and 3) empowering libraries to be incubators for economic, educational and cultural development and community discourse.
