California State Library

The California State Library will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In California, specific goals address: 1) Strengthening the ability of California libraries to design programs and services for all Californians in collaboration with their local communities; 2) Expanding the capacity of California library workers to create and implement services that impact all communities; 3) Broadening data-driven planning and decision-making centered on community impact; and 4) Strengthening resource-sharing and access to information, services, and opportunity with an emphasis on local community strengths and challenges.
