North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources

The State Library of North Carolina will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Specific goals include: 1) Community Engagement - North Carolina libraries will provide expansive, user-focused services that enable community-wide growth.; 2) Expanding Access - North Carolinians will expand access to information and technology needed to learn, live, govern, and work; and 3) Responsive Organizations - North Carolina libraries will be places that all people find welcoming and accessible through sustainable organizational practices focused on community needs, development, and responsiveness.
