Log Number: MA-253196-OMS-23

The Missouri Historical Society will digitize, catalog, and process 52 linear feet of panoramic negatives and prints created by the Sievers commercial photography studio, which operated in downtown St. Louis, Missouri from 1917 to 1989, resulting in an estimated 4,745 digitized and cataloged image records. To complete this work, the museum will hire a full-time digitization specialist and a part-time cataloger. The digitization specialist will digitize and properly rehouse an estimated 3,245 original panoramic negatives and digitize 1,500 prints. The cataloger will create catalog records for each digitized image, arrange an estimated 16,300 prints, and monitor the condition of the film.
