John Ball Zoo

John Ball Zoo will create a new interpretive experience as part of the organization’s new African Expansion by creating updated interpretive signage focusing on education and conservation. The project team will lead the design and development of static signage and interactive elements focused on educating visitors about the species on display, their habitats, African cultures, and threats to their survival. A local artist will also be selected to create and install a unique artwork celebrating African wildlife. Through engaging interpretation, the new exhibits will offer a cohesive, immersive experience that encourages visitors to connect emotionally with animals and engage in conservation action.
