MacArthur Memorial Museum

The MacArthur Memorial Museum will undertake a project to inventory, catalog, and digitize the archival collection held within the Jean MacArthur Research Center. The material includes written reports, correspondence, diaries, newspapers, books, photographs, films, and stereoscopic images covering World War I and World War II. The museum will hire two interns to work on the project who will be responsible for the cataloging, digitizing, and rehousing of the archival material. Once fully processed, the information will be maintained in a collections management system allowing for increased accessibility. The intended beneficiaries include K-12 students, undergraduate and graduate students, authors, researchers, and the media.
