Delaware County Historical Association

The Delaware County Historical Association will purchase HVAC equipment for its new 8,000 square-foot collections and archival facility designed to meet national standards for museum and archival storage. Project activities will include purchasing the HVAC equipment before or during construction of the facility, which is expected to begin in summer 2027. The project will involve partnering with an architect design team to ensure that the new facility can deliver preservation-level conditions by providing stable temperature and humidity control. The project will result in professional-standard environmental conditions for collections storage, ensuring that historically significant holdings, especially the museum’s Revolutionary War collections and other sensitive materials, can be preserved and accessed safely.
