Florida Atlantic University Galleries
Log Number: MA-260036-OMS-26
The Florida Atlantic University Galleries will establish an initiative that integrates historical inquiry, contemporary artistic practice, and museum education to examine the cultural, political, and social conditions that shape prejudice, democratic values, and human rights through exhibition and public programs. Project activities will include a coordinated sequence of exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives that connect Holocaust history with broader cultural conversations. The project will involve two graduate assistant workers to support the development of educational resources for teacher training and public programs, curatorial research, exhibition development, and interpretive planning. The outcome of project activities will be expanded public understanding of Holocaust history, antisemitism, and related societal phenomena through interdisciplinary exhibitions and public programming.
