Florida Holocaust Museum
Log Number: MA-260143-OMS-26
The Florida Holocaust Museum will expand its educational programming by creating two new interactive survivor testimony biographies. In partnership with the USC Shoah Foundation, the museum will conduct multi-day filming sessions using a multi-camera recording system to capture thousands of responses to questions, which will form the basis of the interactive testimony biographies. The project team will engage a media production company to create short introductory films offering historical background and personal context to help visitors better understand each survivor’s life and experiences before engaging with the interactive testimonies. The project resources will become a permanent part of the museum’s educational programming in its immersive theater, primarily benefiting students in grades 5–12 who participate in on-site educational programs and guided school tours. The project will strengthen Holocaust education for all visitors during a time of rising antisemitism and Holocaust denial.
