Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center

Log Number: MA-260488-OMS-26

The Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center will launch a new model for Holocaust education that connects historical understanding with civic responsibility. The museum will introduce immersive digital interactives in its Holocaust Gallery and redesign its Humanity Gallery as an activation experience. Based on previous conceptual development, stakeholder consultation, and interpretive planning, the project will involve final media development, fabrication of exhibit components, installation of interactives, audience feedback prior to opening, and evaluation of learning outcomes. The museum will engage consultants in exhibition fabrication and media production, and an external evaluation firm with expertise in educational program assessment. The project will engage visitors and high school students with multimedia storytelling, artifacts, and personal narratives to gain a better understanding of Jewish identity and antisemitism, while identifying core character strengths needed to confront prejudice and injustice in their communities.
