Norman Rockwell Museum

The Norman Rockwell Museum will conduct a full inventory of its collections and refine and enhance the information maintained for each object. Project activities will include completing physical and digital registration and catalog records for at least 5,000 works from the museum’s collection and making them accessible to the public through their collection database’s public portal. The museum will hire a full-time Collections Assistant for three years with the primary responsibility for cataloging, digitizing, and rehousing the identified portions of the collection. The project will result in increased capacity to share complete and accurate information and images, expanding public access to the nation’s largest collection of material and ephemera related to the life of Norman Rockwell.
