Log Number: MA-30-13-0371-13

The Baltimore Museum of Art will create a complete inventory and catalog record for more than 15,000 prints as well as ephemera such as photographs and research materials in its George A. Lucas Collection of French 19th century art. The Lucas Collection features multiple examples of works on paper by such leading French artists as Edouard Manet and Charles-François Daubigny and by American expatriates working in France, among them Mary Cassatt and James Abbott McNeill Whistler. The cataloging of prints and ephemera in the Lucas Collection will make these important art works and research materials more available for study and exhibitions.
