Norfolk Botanical Garden

Norfolk Botanical Garden (NBG) will implement a staff development initiative aimed at equipping staff to effectively utilize digital technology for interpreting plant collections in the new Perry Conservatory. The project activities include the creation of digital content for dynamic, tech-based interpretive experiences, moving away from static signage to interactive tools that engage visitors. The initiative also supports the creation of an Interpretive Master Plan that will create a framework for ensuring that all content for digital technology meets institutional goals. Insight gained through evaluation of new technology, research at other botanical gardens and museums, and input from staff who are stakeholders in the program will build the capacity to introduce a new innovative educational technology-based learning experience to the Perry Conservatory.
