Zekelman Holocaust Center
Log Number: ME-259760-OMS-26
The Holocaust Memorial Center will train staff in program evaluation to measure the impact of programs that address Holocaust history and contemporary antisemitism. Staff will develop skills in evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative data collection, human subject research protections, and ethical data management. After receiving training, staff will implement an evaluation of the Center’s teacher training programs to examine how this professional development supports teachers’ knowledge and their classroom instruction. The project will produce sustainable evaluation systems within the museum, including an institutional evaluation handbook, replicable evaluation tools, data collection instruments, and a comprehensive evaluation report documenting teacher outcomes and classroom impact. The organization will share project results with educators and peer institutions through conference presentations and reports shared in professional networks online.
