COSI

COSI will undertake a needs assessment to establish the foundation for research collaborations that will advance the understanding of designing and implementing intensive STEM-based youth programs. Examining the spectrum of museum-based youth programs, the study seeks to identify their presence and goals, the outcomes they measure, collaborative research opportunities, existing communication/collaboration relationships, and stakeholder perspectives. Researchers, program designers, practitioners, museum leaders, and program participants and alumnae/i will serve as sources for both leadership and data. These different groups also benefit from the project by gaining direction for future research and collaboration.
