The Great Plains Black History Museum, Archives and Interpretive Center will design, fabricate, and install new exhibits showcasing American history told through the lens of African American heritage and culture in Nebraska and the Great Plains. Project activities include consulting with stakeholders to review historic themes and content for new exhibits and programs, and working with contractors on the design development, fabrication, and installation of exhibitions as well as audiovisual elements for the new theater venue. Content from new museum exhibits and programs will be digitized and made available online and shared on social media platforms.
