Evansville African American Museum

The Evansville African American Museum (EAAM) will develop four exhibitions that have external programming along with a mobile component to reach communities who are unable to visit the museum. The portable outreach box will bring the museum's educational experiences directly to schools, community centers, and events, offering access to artifacts, materials, and hands-on activities tied to our mission and current exhibits. The project also provides two paid internships to expand EAAM curatorial and programming capacity and provide opportunities for training.
