Building Public Access With a recent completion of a $4,600,000 capital campaign and subsequent building renovation, the Yakima Valley Museum is ready to embark on an equally bold installation of an all-new permanent core exhibition. The museum will complete the installation of the first two sections of a new core exhibition on the history and culture of South Central Washington State. Museum staff will research and develop storyline for the exhibition, select objects, design space, and install the exhibit. Outside academic and community consultants will review and comment on the exhibition plans throughout the process
