Adirondack History Center Museum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services After surveying area teachers, the Adirondack History Center plans to expand educational services according to the needs of the teachers. The Museum will package five programs to be made available to the 13 school districts in Essex County. The proposed programs are: an architectural heritage program for elementary grades; an Adirondack architecture program for high schools; an abolition history program for high schools; a Woman of the Past dramatic program for elementary grades; and a multi-grade, multigenerational community theatrical production. The packages will include photographs, drawings, paintings, articles, documents, scripts, and lesson plans.
