Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians’ Eyaawing Museum and Cultural Center will develop the Debaajmomig Core Exhibit Planning Project. The project will produce exhibit plans, concept designs, and production estimations for subsequent production and installation of permanent exhibits. The Debaajmomig exhibit will provide museum visitors with an understanding of the history and culture of the tribe and the Anishinaabek of Michigan. The planning and development process will be structured to include input, review, and critique from key stakeholders and the wider community.
