Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria

The Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria in California will begin a digitization project to scan and transfer to .pdf format 23 rolls of newly acquired microfilm from the Bancroft Library at University of California at Berkeley. The microfilm contains unpublished works by ethnographers who visited the tribes represented at Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria. The tribe will also complete the transcription of Pliny E. Goddard’s field notes, which were acquired from the anthropology department at Humboldt State University. The resulting digitized documents will be made available and accessible to the public at the Bear River Library as well as the Bancroft Library and Humboldt State University.
