Waianae Economic Development Council

Waiʻanae Economic Development Council will implement a professional development program for 30 Native Hawaiian cultural practitioners to help promote the economic well-being of Native Hawaiians and community members. The organization will deliver a Hawaiian culture-based entrepreneurship workshop series to the practitioners and provide them with the technical assistance needed to create online learning content. Project activities include recruiting program participants, developing and providing workshops, and designing, recording, and publishing digital content. This project will increase public access to Native Hawaiian cultural knowledge and practices while building the business and technical capacity of cultural practitioners so that they may better sustain themselves, their families, and their communities.
