Quapaw Nation

The Quapaw Nation will enhance museum services by addressing multiple needs identified by the Quapaw Nation Museum, including improving visitor wayfinding and signage, upgrading display cases, replacing outdated technology, and purchasing archival quality mannequins for safely displaying regalia. Grant funds will also support the development and integration of QR codes for museum exhibits to provide a more engaging and accessible experience for visitors with visual or hearing impairments. These updates will enable the museum to better protect, manage, and display its collections, and better serve both tribal and non-tribal visitors.
