Indian Township Tribal Government

The Passamaquoddy Cultural Heritage Museum of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township will create a more immersive, educational, and accessible museum experience for visitors of all ages by integrating a new visitor engagement and wayfinding platform, as well as developing interactive video displays and an audio tour. A series of short educational videos highlighting key aspects of Passamaquoddy culture will be developed, and the new audio tour will feature voices from the community, including stories and teachings from elders, language speakers, and cultural leaders. Additionally, a replica wigwam will be constructed and the process documented and incorporated via video into the museum exhibit, helping to deepen visitors’ understanding and appreciation of Tribal heritage.
