Suquamish Indian Tribe of the Port Madison Reservation

The Suquamish Indian Tribe of the Port Madison Reservation will support the management and care of the Suquamish Museum collection by improving documentation, storage, and daily use of its holdings. The Tribe will hire a full-time Collections Management Specialist to update cataloguing methods, reorganize storage, and complete a full item-level inventory for over 7,000 items. The project will result in enhanced preservation and practical availability of Suquamish records and objects, making it easier to use for Suquamish members, researchers, and visitors.
