Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) will hire two positions dedicated to continuing the work of identifying and cataloguing the SRPMIC Community Relations Office Photograph Collection, consisting of approximately 158,000 images in total. Two grant-funded Historical Data Specialists will build on previous efforts to identify, catalog, and organize the collection by processing approximately 47,400 images (roughly 30% of the collection). These images document community life, leadership, Tribal government growth, cultural events, and history. The project will result in a more robust and user-friendly database, providing increased access to this significant collection.
